Getting Started as a Hosting Reseller with WHM

Access WHM, set up private nameservers, create client accounts, and build hosting packages.

Access WHM

Visit yourdomain.com:2087 with root credentials from your welcome email.

Set Up Private Nameservers

  1. WHM → DNS → Basic cPanel/WHM Setup → enter ns1.yourcompany.com and ns2.yourcompany.com
  2. WHM → Add A Entry for Missing Nameserver → register them

Create a Client Account

  1. WHM → Account Functions → Create a New Account
  2. Enter domain, username, email, password
  3. Select a hosting package

Create Hosting Packages

WHM → Packages → Add a Package. Set disk, bandwidth, email accounts, databases per package.
