Step 1: Create the Mailbox in cPanel
- cPanel → Email → Email Accounts
- Click Create
- Enter your desired address (e.g. info, sales, support)
- Set a strong password
- Click Create
Step 2: Connect to Outlook (IMAP — Recommended)
- Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com | Port: 993 | SSL/TLS
- Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com | Port: 465 | SSL/TLS
- Username: your full email address
Step 3: Configure Gmail to Send/Receive
Gmail → Settings → Accounts → Add another email address. Use SMTP: mail.yourdomain.com, Port 465, SSL.
Step 4: Improve Email Deliverability
Go to cPanel → Email Deliverability → click Repair next to your domain. This auto-installs SPF and DKIM records, significantly reducing the chance your emails land in spam.
Tip: Always use IMAP (not POP3) so your emails sync across all devices — phone, laptop, and tablet.
