Setting Up Professional Business Email on Your Domain

Create a professional email address like info@yourbusiness.com and configure it in Outlook, Gmail, or your phone.

Step 1: Create the Mailbox in cPanel

  1. cPanel → Email → Email Accounts
  2. Click Create
  3. Enter your desired address (e.g. info, sales, support)
  4. Set a strong password
  5. Click Create

Step 2: Connect to Outlook (IMAP — Recommended)

  • Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com | Port: 993 | SSL/TLS
  • Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com | Port: 465 | SSL/TLS
  • Username: your full email address

Step 3: Configure Gmail to Send/Receive

Gmail → Settings → Accounts → Add another email address. Use SMTP: mail.yourdomain.com, Port 465, SSL.

Step 4: Improve Email Deliverability

Go to cPanel → Email Deliverability → click Repair next to your domain. This auto-installs SPF and DKIM records, significantly reducing the chance your emails land in spam.

Tip: Always use IMAP (not POP3) so your emails sync across all devices — phone, laptop, and tablet.
